Why a quince
A house that keeps growing
An old quince tree stands in our garden. Every autumn it bends under golden fruit. It became our logo because it says what this house is about: something that keeps growing and adds colour to a calm place.

A covered terrace, a lawn under tall poplars and our quince tree in the middle. Figs in late summer, quinces in autumn — and four bikes in the garden house.

The area
Water, dykes, oysters
A small, quiet park, a short walk from the harbour and beach of Stavenisse. From the dyke, bike paths run straight into the Oosterschelde National Park. Oysters and mussels nearby; Zierikzee, Antwerp and Rotterdam within easy reach.
